When the boat rocks...
A few times in life the boat has rocked, it has weather the storms of life and today it has set back a sail. A very peaceful day off, a gift from a friend in my kitchen window reminds me I need to pray each day, just to keep the boat still.
When the dishwasher breaks you know what you are made of. Do you throw a fit, let them stack up or simply get out the plug, fill er' up and play in the bubbles?
Life sometimes requires us to be domestic and I figure I may as well look cute while I'm at it. I cleaned today, but mostly I just relaxed, wrote two friends long letters, groomed one of my dogs and watched a little t.v. and caught up on magazine reads...ah...bliss!
Sometimes when the boat rocks and we are tired or scared, we look out the window and know who is there...
A time for relection as I sit and look out my front window. I'm so thankful that we gained favor and were able to keep our front yard. The little frogs will be back in the spring, we were asked to plant some more little bushes but that is all, it's just more good places for gnomes to roam...

Hey Girl with the Curl,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wise encouragement. For me, an early morning prayer walk is one of best faith restoratives.
Blessings to you my friend, and say hi to Len.
