Today, the skies are going to be gray. The air is cold, snowflakes are thinking about falling down upon my corner of the world but in it all, I look out into my little front yard affectionately called Gnomeland and I know that love grows there.
I awoke with a sweet song dancing through my head, bloggers, YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE! I took a trip around blog world this morning. Women who turn the gray skies into sunshine! Thank you blog friends for keeping my heart happy!
I have been puttering in my bedroom inspired to make it feel warm and even more cozy. My theme is The Three Bears and soon I'll have some pictures for show and tell. I found some thick fabric drapes for the windows and I have no desire to even open them. The bedroom is feeling like a safe hideaway nest...fit for winter birds or hibernating bears...
I will have a birthday soon and the older I get, the more I want to live my life just as I please. I started my blog three years ago this May and it has brought me so much joy. You have encouraged me to let my imagination run wild. To be the Once Upon a Fairyland girl that I was destined to be. As I dance my way through 2012 I intend to make changes even more towards the girl I've always wanted to be. I can see a mushroom and imagine life under it and that is the girl I've always imagined myself to be.
Come along with me, no matter if the skies are gray or blue, we have each other and in this big world, faithful friends who live their life and share their life will always be.

ReplyDeleteYes,we are under the same sky,look at the same moon and sometimes dream the same dreams...I too am working toward being that girl I always felt I should be....I have rediscovered her in so many ways..I do love the bracelet so much and am touched that Nico thought to make it for me...when you talk to her Please,tell her I said so. Three years almost...Wow...you have shared so much and touched so many lives. ReplyDeleteAnd YOU are our sunshine dear heart. I was feeling very blue last night about our Nowhere....it is gray there, and I am one to blame. I have not had time since my Etsy shop to devote to Nowhere and all I can remember is that I had so much fun there, bantering back and forth with you all. But the sun still rises as much as it sets, and happiness is what you make of it. Let's make some magic? Anita
